Russia has shocked for the second consecutive day. The earthquake, which occurred on the Kuril Islands in the eastern region of Russia, was 6.5 on Thursday morning.

According to the National Center for Sismology (NCS), the earthquake was registered at 10:57 am Indian time. Its depth was just 10 kilometers.

Earlier on Wednesday, there was a fierce earthquake of 8.8 magnitude in the sea near Kuril Islands. Which is at number six in the most powerful earthquakes recorded so far. However, no casualties have been reported in this so far.

Tsunami waves reached Russia, Japan, China and America after an earthquake of 8.8 magnitude. In Russia, these waves were 4 meters high, while in the US were up to 1 meter high.

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake also occurred in Kuril yesterday. Apart from this, volcanoes also erupted after the earthquake in Kamchatka.
