There was tremendous violence in Nepal on Friday in support of the monarchy. During this time, many houses were set on fire and incidents of looting were also revealed. Two people died and more than 110 people were injured. After this violence, now there has been an open tension between the supporters of the monarchy and the government. On the one hand, while the government is taking action on the people involved in the violence and former King Gyanendra Shah, the monarchy supporters have given the ultimatum to the government till April 3.
Action intensifies against former king
The government took many strict decisions regarding the former King Gyanendra of Nepal. Recently, former King Gyanendra sought direct support from the public in February after visiting a large part of Nepal, but now the government is also in the mood for action. After a violent clash on Friday, the Oli government of Nepal has taken a big decision and changed the security of former King Gyanendra. All the security personnel on their duty have been replaced. At the same time, their security has also been reduced. Earlier, where Gyanendra Shah was given security by 25 security personnel, it has now been reduced to 16. On the other hand, the Kathmandu Municipal Corporation is also taking strict action against the king.

Gyanendra Shah fined 7.93 lakh Nepali rupees
Raja Gyanendra has been told that the damage done during the violence on Friday should compensate for the loss. In Kathmandu Municipal Corporation, Raja Gyanendra Shah has been fined 7.93 lakh Nepali rupees and has ordered to compensate whatever was done. In Friday’s violence, many houses, buildings, government offices and government vehicles were damaged and set on fire. Meanwhile, the Home Ministry of Nepal has also given strict warnings to the protesters seeking to bring back the rule of Rajshahi supporters i.e. Raja Gyanendra.
