Rss:’We work for India, do not hire any lobbying firm in America’; RSS’s counterattack on Congress – Rss Rejects Congress Allegation, Says It Works For Bharat And Hired No Lobbying Firm In The Us

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has rejected Congress’s allegation that the RSS has hired ‘one of Pakistan’s official lobbying firms’ to improve its image in the US. The Congress alleged that the RSS has roped in American law firm Squire Patton Boggs (SPB) to further its interests, a move that amounts to a betrayal of national interest.

Responding to Congress’s claim, RSS national publicity chief Sunil Ambekar said that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh works in India and has not appointed any lobbying firm in the US. He made it clear that the work of the Sangh is only in the interest of India and Indian society and it has no connection with any foreign agency or firm.

Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh had written on social media platform ‘X’ alleging that a few days ago RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had admitted that the Sangh is not a registered organization and does not even pay tax. Ramesh further said that now it has come to light that RSS has given huge amount of money to Pakistan’s official lobbying firm Squire Patton Boggs to further its interests in America.

Ramesh also shared a screenshot of a US Senate lobbying disclosure in his post, which stated that the said law firm has registered lobbying for the RSS. However, RSS has termed Congress’s allegation as misleading and politically motivated.
