Delhi news: The Delhi government has decided to provide direct financial assistance to the Kanwar committees for the Kandar Yatra during the month of Sawan. Kanwar camps divided into 4 categories
According to the Delhi government, the Kanwar camps will be divided into 4 categories according to their tenting area and camp period and the minimum limit of aid amount has been fixed at Rs 50,000 and a maximum of Rs 10 lakh. Also, 50 percent of the total grant amount will be given in advance, the remaining 50 percent of the Utility Certificate (UC), SDM or Tehsildar will be given geo-tag photo and audit documents within 3 months after getting the audit documents. Religious Festival Committee
