Rajasthan Royals Match Fixing Allegation: The issue of match fixing in IPL has once again surfaced. Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) convenor Jaideep Bihani has accused the Rajasthan Royals team of match fixing. After the talk of match fixing, now BCCI has broken the silence in this matter. The BCCI has termed the entire case as a RCA drama.
What did BCCI say on match fixing?
According to the Times of India report, it was said on behalf of a BCCI official that RCA is currently dissolved and elections are going to be held in the Rajasthan Cricket Association, due to which the entire drama is being done. On behalf of the BCCI, it was further stated that an anti-corruption unit has been created, which will work to remove all the bad elements from the association.
Rajasthan Royals response
It was said by Rajasthan Royals that we deny all the allegations. Such things are not only being done to confuse people, but the image of the team is also getting tarnished by these things. With these things, people’s trust in the Rajasthan Royals team can also be weak. It was also said by RR that these things also tarnish the integrity of cricket.
It is also being told in the report that the Rajasthan Cricket Association is also angry due to getting less tickets in the IPL. Usually RCA used to get 1800 tickets for every match. At the same time, the number of tickets has been reduced to 1000 to 1200 tickets this year. After the dissolution of RCA, the Rajasthan State Sports Council (RSSC) is monitoring all the arrangements. BCCI, through its statement, has completely rejected the allegations of match fixing in the IPL.
