US Vice President JD Vance left for Washington on Thursday morning after a four -day visit with his family. He flew by special aircraft to Washington from Jaipur International Airport. Vance reached Jaipur from Delhi on Monday night. His program of City Palace in Jaipur was canceled after the Pahalgam attack.

During his visit to India, Vance saw the Amer Fort in Jaipur and gave a speech on Indo-US relations at the Rajasthan International Center. Earlier, he went to see the Taj Mahal in Agra on Wednesday. The Vance family visited the Akshardham temple in Delhi on Monday. Also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in the capital. Prime Minister Modi hosted dinner for the Vans and his family. His visit is believed to strengthen Indo-US relations from political, economic and strategic perspective.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Vance also spoke to Prime Minister Modi over the phone about the news of the Pahalgam terror attack during the visit of Agra. The US is ready to provide all kinds of assistance in a joint fight against terrorism.
