Significantly, this is not the first time that such threatening calls have come from jails. Even before this, VVIP leaders have been threatened by jails. Last month, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma was also threatened with death by a prisoner from Dausa Jail. The prisoner, who was serving a sentence under the Poxo Act, threatened the Chief Minister by calling the Jaipur Police Control Room between 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm on February 21. His location was found in Dausa Jail after tracing the call. The police is now conducting a thorough investigation in this latest case and trying to find out with the jail administration who is behind this call.
