Music Emperor Charanjit Singh Ahuja’s last Ardas today.
The last Ardas of Punjab music composer Charanjit Singh Ahuja will be held today (3 October) at the Mohali Dulrat Resort. Many celebrities associated with Punjab Music Industry will be present on this occasion.

Ahuja died on 21 September. He was 74 years old and suffered from liver cancer. He was undergoing treatment with PGI. His last rites were performed at the crematorium in Mohali.

Charanjeet Ahuja is called the “craftsman of Punjabi music”. He is considered a pillar of the Punjabi music world. His tunes still resonate in folk songs, marriage and cultural events. His tunes gave a new identity to the Punjabi music industry in the 1980s and 1990s.
Many folk singers including Surjeet Bindrakhia, Kuldeep Manak, Gurdas Mann, Chamkila, Gurkirpal Surrapuri, Satwinder Bugga got their names with the tunes of Ahuja. Some singers started with their music, some of which also became superstars. Charanjeet Ahuja is left behind 4 sons, who are associated with the music industry.

Shifted to Mohali during Korona period
Charanjit Singh Ahuja and his family previously lived in Delhi before the Korona period, but they shifted to Mohali before the Korona epidemic. After this he built his studio in Mohali. His house was in TDI City. He often came to the studio.
But after his health deteriorated, he stopped coming to office. Most of the time he started spending at his home. During the Korona period, when people did not leave their homes, he himself used to come to his studio. At the same time, he used to motivate people to social service.
