By Saturday evening, 13 flood relief camps were opened. Mehboob Ali Inter College camp reached only 75 packets at 11 am while there are more than 250 refugees here. Not only this, the food also reached at five in the evening. There was also a complaint about the quality of food. St. Joseph’s Girls Wing, Mumfordganj, also complained of not reaching food on time. During this time ADM Finance and Revenue Vinita Singh arrived to inspect the school.

Food also reached late at Annie Besant School in Baghra. At the same time, the camp’s nodal officer KK Singh also reached. There was a complaint about the medical team who reached the camp. The nodal officer sought a full report in this regard and warned the doctor in charge to sit. ADM Finance and Revenue Vinita Singh says that people are constantly growing in the camps, so it was late for the food to reach.

NDRF, CDRF took command, boats were also installed

NDRF and CDRF teams have also become active as the scope of floods increased. Apart from these, 30 boats have been run by the Tehsil administration. With their help, the order to take people trapped in the floods to safe places is going on. Councilors and effective people of the region have been given mobile numbers of accountants, NDRF officers and sailors. So that people surrounded by floods can ask for help. Apart from these, people of civil defense are also active. SDM Sadar Abhishek Singh says that 10 additional boats have also been kept. They will also be run when needed. He said that by Friday evening, four flood relief camps had started.
