As part of the preparations for Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, the face of the city is completely changing. The 16 kilometer long VVIP corridor being built at a cost of Rs 550 crore to connect Sangam city to the airport is almost ready. People say that this corridor is not only making the traffic easier but also drawing attention from the beauty of the city.
Let us tell you that a 16 kilometer long VVIP Corridor has been built from Prayagraj Airport to Sangam in the city which is being decorated before the beginning of the Kumbh Mela on the sands of Sangam. It has cost Rs 550 crore to build this VVIP corridor.

Artworks of Nataraja, Nandi and sages have been installed at the intersections in the VVIP corridor. At the same time, 84 special pillars have been installed half a kilometer ahead of Prayagraj Airport, which symbolize the essence of the eighty-four pillars of creation.
In Sanatan tradition, 84 lakh yonis have been mentioned, the 84 pillars here are their symbols. Thousands of names of Lord Shiva are also inscribed on the pillars being made of red stone. Saplings have been planted along the roads, which also include flowering plants.
People living nearby say that at one time they were afraid to pass through this road because there used to be silence here, but after being connected to the airport, the importance of this road has not only increased but the traffic has also increased. On the other hand, the road was rejuvenated due to beautification.
