How to take advantage of the scheme?

To get solar panels under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana, you have to go to the official website of the scheme PMSURAGHAR.GOV.IN. After this, click on the option of ‘Apply for Rooftop Solar’ on the home page. After this, you have to complete the registration of details like your state, power distribution company, consumer number, mobile number and emails. After registration, you have to login with your consumer number and mobile number.

Then you will have to submit the application form as well as the seller documents for the roftop solar. After this, approval will be available from the power distribution company. After that you should get solar panels from any solar panel vendor registered in the power company. Apply for net meter. After this, the power company will come to your home for inspection and you will be issued a certificate. After the entire process, you will get subsidy within 30 days.
