A grand program was organized in Kevadiya, Gujarat on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of the country’s first Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. PM Modi participated in this program. Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary is celebrated as National Unity Day because after independence, Sardar Patel played a major role in creating a united India by merging more than 550 princely states of the country. In the Kevadiya program, PM Modi took the salute of the parade in which army and police contingents took part. After various cultural programs, PM Modi fiercely targeted Congress in his address. Let us know the important points of PM Modi’s speech-
                1. PM Modi said that Sardar Saheb wanted Kashmir to be merged in the same way as he merged other princely states, but Pandit Nehru did not allow his wish to be fulfilled. Kashmir was divided with a separate constitution and separate symbol. The country kept burning for decades due to the mistake made by Congress on Kashmir.

                2. PM Modi said that ‘everything that weakens the unity of the country. Every countryman has to stay away from him. This is a national duty, this is a true tribute to Sardar Saheb. This is what the country needs today. This is the message and resolution of Unity Day for every Indian today.

                3. PM Modi said that ‘Today the unity and internal security of our country is under serious threat from infiltrators. For decades, foreign intruders have been entering our country, exploiting its resources, and disturbing its demographic balance. Unfortunately, previous governments ignored this serious issue and turned a blind eye to this problem. In the pursuit of vote-bank politics, he deliberately compromised the security of the country. For the first time, the country has taken a strong and decisive stance to face this challenge head-on and protect its integrity.’

                4. Prime Minister said remember the real Iron Man, who faced stones, knives and various conspiracies but never compromised the unity of India. The truth should be recorded in history and not the distorted version of Congress. This truth was kept hidden for political gains for 86 years. Historian Rizwan Qadri brought this before everyone. This is a reminder that during the freedom struggle, Sardar Patel fought not only against the British but also against internal betrayal.

                5. PM Modi said that ‘Sardar Patel once said that there is no greater happiness than serving the country. I also believe that there is no greater happiness than dedicating oneself to the service of the country. Today record highways and expressways are being built in the country. Trains like Vande Bharat and Namo Bharat are changing Indian Railways. Even small cities are now being connected with airport facilities. With this modern infrastructure, the world’s perception of India is completely changing. It has also reduced the distances between East and West, North and South of the country.
