PM Modi is the chief guest on the National Day of Mauritius for the second time. He first received this honor in 2015. PM Modi was also invited in 2023 for France’s Bastil Day Parade. Earlier in 2022, PM Modi went to Lumbini, Nepal for the Buddha Buddha Jayanti celebrations. In 2021, Bangladesh invited PM Modi to his National Day celebrations. His visit to Sri Lanka for International Wesak Day in 2017 showed India’s leadership in civilization and cultural diplomacy.
