PhonePe: PhonePe and OpenAI announced a strategic partnership on Thursday. PhonePe announced a partnership with OpenAI to bring ChatGPT features to its users in India. Flipkart-owned Unified Payments Interface platform will integrate the San Francisco-based artificial intelligence giant’s technology into its platform. PhonePe stressed that this move will improve the user experience on its platform and help them make better and more informed purchasing decisions. The company said in a statement that with this collaboration, PhonePe users will get ChatGPT’s advanced AI services directly through PhonePe Consumers App and PhonePe for Business App.
ChatGPT-based experiences will be available on PhonePe
Although the full chatbot interface will not be accessible from PhonePe’s consumer app and PhonePe for Business app, users will still get ChatGPIT-based experiences across the platform. The post states that the AI ​​assistant will help users get essential information related to everyday needs, from planning their next trip to shopping.
It is worth noting that this is not the first payment company that has partnered with this AI giant. In October, Razorpay had announced that it had partnered with OpenAI and National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to bring agentic AI-based Unified Payments Interface (UPI) transactions on ChatGate.
