BJP is trying to end democracy- Awadhesh Prasad
Samajwadi Party MP Awadhesh Prasad said, ‘The situation is very critical and efforts are being made by the BJP to end democracy. Important Bills could not be discussed
Due to opposition opposition, the Lok Sabha National Sports Administration Bill, 2025 and the National Anti -Doping (Amendment) Bill, could not discuss 2025. Amid opposition protests, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that after the all -party meeting, time was allotted to discuss the National Sports Bill and Anti -Doping Bill in the BAC meeting. He urged the members not to waste the time of the House and condemned his stand. Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandavya said that the bill is important and urged the opposition members to allow discussion. BJP MP Jagdambika Pal (who was on the chair) also urged the members to continue the discussion. He said that the House has not passed any bill since the commencement of monsoon session.
