The Vice President said that India’s progress is incomplete without active participation of women. The Vice President said on the role of the Women’s Commission that the Commission should focus on information spread and creativity rather than sensationality and make headlines should not be the ultimate goal. He said, ‘Strength is never in the use of power, but in the feeling of boundaries. Your boundaries define your power. The Vice President also praised Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. He insisted that the men’s tendency to dominate women should be abolished.
