Former US Pentagon officer and senior Fellow Michael Rubin of the American Enterprise Institute has said that Pakistan has suffered a crushing defeat on diplomatic and military fronts after the surgical strike carried out by India under ‘Operation Sindoor’. He attacked Pakistan’s role in the interview to ANI and praised India’s military action fiercely.
Rubin said that the quick and accurate manner in which India attacked the terrorists after the Pahgam terror attack, diverted the global attention to the terrorist network of Pakistan and exposed the years old false image of Pakistan.
India’s decisive victory
Rubin said, ‘India defeated Pakistan at both military and diplomatic levels in this confrontation. The biggest reason for India’s diplomatic victory is that now all global eyes are on the instigation of Pakistan’s terrorism.

He said that on May 7, India carried out a surgical strike at terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (Pojk) under Operation Sindoor, killing more than 100 terrorists. After this, Pakistan also tried to retaliate, but India not only responded to it, but also targeted many Pakistani military bases and airbase.
Pakistan’s pole opened
Rubin said, ‘This operation exposed the relationship between the Pakistani Army and the terrorists to the whole world. When Pakistani army officials come to uniform and join the funeral of the terrorists, the difference is over who is a terrorist and who is a military.
He made a sharp comment and said, ‘In this four -day battle, Pakistan’s condition became like a scared dog who ran to beg the ceasefire by pressing the tail. Pakistan can no longer hide this defeat in any way. They have given up badly.

India also responded not only, not rescue
Rubin also clarified that India did not start this fight, but was imposed on it. He said, ‘Every country has the right to protect its citizens. India only retaliated, which was completely justified. India should give a clear message that it will never tolerate terrorist attacks coming from across the border.
Sarcasm on trump
Rubin also said that the US often makes diplomatic efforts behind the screen during the Indo-Pak conflict so that stress does not reach nuclear escalation. Although he took a sarcasm at the claims of former US President Donald Trump’s ‘mediation’, saying, “If you ask Trump, he would say that he won the World Cup alone, created the internet and cured cancer too!”
