India has accused Pakistan of attacking innocent people in POK (Pakistan -occupied Kashmir). Indian Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said in a press conference on Friday that the Pakistani army was vandalizing innocent people.
Jaiswal told
We have seen reports of protests in many areas of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. This is the result of Pakistan’s oppressive attitude and the robbery of resources from these areas. POK is forced and illegal occupation. Pakistan should be held accountable to its human rights violations.
In fact, POK has been protesting against the subsidy cut on basic needs for the last 5 days. The protesters are accusing the government of ignoring fundamental rights and not being able to control inflation. So far 12 people have died in these demonstrations.
The protesters marched on 29 September from different areas of POK towards the capital Muzaffarabad.
Interim government of Bangladesh failed to maintain law and order
India has said that the interim government of Bangladesh has failed to handle law and order. In fact, Bangladesh home advisor Jahangir Alam Chaudhary had accused India for the violence in Khagrachari last week.
On these allegations, Jaiswal said that we dismiss these false and baseless allegations. He said that the interim government has a habit of blaming someone else.
Jasaywal advised Bangladesh to investigate violence, arson and land grabbing fundamentalists against minority communities in the hilly areas of Chittagong.
