Pcb chief mohsin naqvi reaction: The ICC Champions Trophy is starting from 19 February. Pakistan will host the tournament, but before that there are constant questions on the incomplete stadium. Actually, construction work is going on in major stadiums like Karachi and Lahore in Pakistan, so far it has not been completed. After which the questions are constantly arising whether the construction work of the stadium will be completed till the tournament starts? However, this question has been answered by Mohsin Naqvi, chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board. Mohsin Naqvi said that by when the construction work of these stadiums will be completed.

‘People are saying that the stadiums in Pakistan are incomplete ..’

Mohsin Naqvi, chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board, is completely convinced that the construction work of these stadiums will be completed by the scheduled time. Mohsin Naqvi said that people are saying from the border that the stadiums in Pakistan are incomplete, the construction of these stadiums has not been completed, so the Champions Trophy should be shifted from Pakistan. But I would like to assure that this is not a problem. Our stadiums are ready for Tri-Series and Champions Trophy. He said that our Prime Minister will inaugurate the Lahore Stadium on 7 February, by then this stadium will be fully ready.

‘In the construction work of Karachi Stadium and Rawalpindi Stadium …’

Also, Mohsin Naqvi said that the construction work of Karachi Stadium and Rawalpindi Stadium will take some time. This work will continue even after the tournament. He said that the inauguration ceremony of this tournament will be held in Lahore on 16th. Due to the busy journey of some teams, the ICC or the conference of captains or photoshoots will not be possible for us. We have asked the ICC to refrain from providing normal tickets and passes given to us to the host country.
