Pahlaj Nihalani, the film producer and former chairman of the censor board, recently called actor Anil Kapoor a lie in an interview and accused him of spreading lies about the things related to the film ‘Andaz’.
In an interview to journalist Vicky Lalwani, when he was asked that Anil Kapoor had said that he had opposed the pornographic lyrics and dance steps of the song ‘Khadi Hai’ from the film ‘Andaz’, Nihalani clearly said that Anil Kapoor is a false number one. Nothing like this had happened. Nor was there any quarrel.
Pahlaj Nihalani has produced films like ‘Shola and Shabnam’ and ‘Aankhen’.
Pahlaj said that Anil Kapoor had praised the song and said that this song would make the film a hit.
Pahlaj said – Anil must have heard the song 50 times Pahlaj Nihalani said, “He himself (Anil Kapoor) calls ‘Andaz’ a B grade film, but he was desperate to do that film. Karishma Kapoor requested me a lot to come to the film. People were ready to work with me, Anil Kapoor was one of them.” According to Pahlaj, before shooting, Anil Kapoor had heard the song ‘Khadi Hai’ at least 50 times and always said that the song will be a superhit.
The film ‘Andaz’ was released in 1994, produced by Pahlaj Nihalani.
Juhi Chawla had a slight hesitation on the steps Pahlaj Nihalani also told that only Juhi Chawla had some objection to the song. He said, “Juhi was a little hesitant on the steps, but I explained to him that it is fine according to the scene of the song.”
Preparations were made to launch Madhuri Dixit Pahlaj Nihalani made another allegation about the Anil Kapoor family. He said that he had prepared to launch Madhuri Dixit. For him, the secretary was arranged, but later Boney Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and some other filmmakers spread the rumor that Govinda does not want to work with any new actress.
Pahlaj Nihalani’s film ‘Elazam’ was released in 1986.
Nihalani alleged that Madhuri was seduced and removed from them. He said, “Madhuri was a straightforward girl at that time. Boney and her gang implicated her. Then I signed Neelam.”
