In Bareilly, the eighth Corps PAC soldier Ravi killed his wife Meenu to marry his girlfriend. Ravi, originally a resident of Siyari village of Milak of Rampur police station, was married to Meenu, the daughter of Jagdish, a resident of village Baknori in Shahzadnagar police station in 2015. After three years of marriage, in 2018, he was admitted to PAC as a soldier. He has three daughters. Along with his wife and a daughter, he was staying here in the government residence of PAC Eighth Corps.

SP North Mukesh Mishra said that Ravi used to treat his wife with a tantric, stating the shadow of ghosts. During his deployment in Bareilly, one of his relatives grew close to the woman and Ravi planned to hide Meenu to marry her.

Three lakh betel nut for killing wife
