The Supreme Court of Brazil has ordered the former President of the country to be under house arrest. He is accused of conspiring to remain in power despite the defeat in the 2022 presidential election. The court said that Bolsonaro has violated already imposed precautionary sanctions.
Justice Alexandre de Morius, who is monitoring the case, said Bolsonaro sent public messages through his three MP sons, which is a violation of restrictions.
Bolsonaro addressed a rally of his supporters at Rio de Janeiro on Sunday with his son’s phone. During this time he said,

The court described it as a direct disregard of the rules. The Supreme Court then ordered them to keep them under house arrest, wear electronic ankle monitor and seize all mobiles from their house.
The lawyers of Bolsonaro have spoken of challenging the verdict. He says that this is a common manifestation, not a crime.
