Tuesday was filled with war-like situations in the desert areas of western Rajasthan. The brave men of the Army and Air Force displayed tremendous combat skills and coordination during their joint military exercises in Jaisalmer, Jalore and Barmer districts. The echo of explosions in the sky and smoke and sand balloons rising from the ground gave the feeling of a real war.

Army retaliated against enemy in Jaisalmer
Army soldiers created a war-like scene in Sialo ka Tala area of ​​Jaisalmer district. During this exercise it was shown that enemy soldiers had captured the forward posts of India.

After this, the Indian Army and Air Force retaliated and forced them to retreat. This demonstration was done as part of the conclusion of ‘Operation Trishul’.

Tanks and paratroopers showed their strength amidst the sand
In the second phase of Exercise Maru Jwala, the shells fired from the tanks destroyed the enemy positions in the blink of an eye. The soldiers who landed by paratrooping from a height of about 12,500 feet neutralized the enemies by raining bullets and bombs.

The soldiers of the Army’s Seven Para team proved that no obstacle is insurmountable for the Indian Army in all three ways – water, land and air. Para commandos from Air Force’s C-295 transport aircraft performed an amazing feat by jumping from a height with the help of parachute and landing in the war zone.
