OnePlus 15 Launched in India: OnePlus 15 has been launched today on 13th November in the global market including India and OnePlus has already launched this phone in the Chinese market. This flagship phone of OnePlus has been launched in the Indian market with the world’s fastest processor. This is the first phone to be launched in India with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. At the time of its launch, it was described as a phone with ultimate experience for gaming, photo, video shooting and AI related tasks.

How much will this OnePlus phone cost in India?

In India, the 12 GB + 256 storage model of OnePlus 15 will be priced at Rs 72,999, which with bank discount will cost you Rs 68,999. Apart from this, the 16 GB + 512 GB model is priced at Rs 79,999, which will cost you Rs 75,999 with the bank offer. Along with this, free OnePlus Nord Buds 3 will also be available in limited period open sale offer.

This phone comes with four IP ratings i.e. IP66, IP68, IP69, IP69K i.e. it has been tested with water jet, heating water jet and even complete submersion in water and its strength is quite strong. Its durability has been tested by immersing it in 2 meters of water for 30 minutes and it has passed the test.

Phone with 7300mAh silicon-carbon battery

The new OnePlus 15 is India’s first smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Elite Generation 5 processor. It has a 6.78-inch QHD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. It has a 7300mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports wired and wireless fast charging. OnePlus 15 has a 50-megapixel triple rear camera, allowing users to record videos in up to 8K resolution. It will be available in India on Amazon and the company’s online stores.

OnePlus 15 comes with the industry’s first 165Hz 1.5k display and its new 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate can go up to 1800 nits in high brightness mode. However, the company recently revealed that this can be reduced by up to 0.5 nits with the ‘Reduce White Point’ toggle enabled in the display settings.

The first phone with the fastest chipset

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the OnePlus 15 is the first phone in India to feature Qualcomm’s newest and fastest chipset ever. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 features an octa-core setup with two prime cores clocked at up to 4.6GHz and six performance cores clocked at up to 3.62GHz. Built on TSMC’s 3nm process, this chipset includes Qualcomm’s third generation Orion CPU, which the company claims is capable of providing 20 percent better performance and 35 percent better power efficiency. OnePlus 15 will operate with OxygenOS 16, which is the company’s latest Android skin based on Android 16.

Equipped with many AI features including Google’s Gemini AI

It also has up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra+ RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. To keep the temperature under control, the OnePlus 15 has a 5731 square mm 3D vapor chamber with 360 cryo-velocity cooling system. It also has many artificial intelligence features like Plus Mind, Google’s Gemini AI, AI Recorder, AI Portrait Glow, AI Scan and AI Playlab.

The new phone is amazing on the camera front

OnePlus 15 has a triple rear camera setup. It has a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) Sony IMX906 primary camera with 24mm focal length, autofocus, and 84-degree field of view. The phone also has a 50-megapixel (f/2.8) Samsung JN5 telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and 7x optical quality zoom capability, 80mm focal length, 30-degree field of view, and autofocus. The OnePlus 15 also sports a 50-megapixel (f/2.0) OV50D ultrawide camera with a 116-degree field of view, autofocus, and 16mm focal length.
