Rajesh Aggarwal, Additional Secretary, Central Commerce Department, said that this year eight lakh people reached the Auto Expo till Tuesday. Around 90 thousand people came on Wednesday. Whereas last time this figure was around one and a half lakh. This has been the world’s largest auto expo. Five developed countries including Germany and Japan participated in this event. Apart from this, four other countries also participated. He said that under the vision of the Prime Minister, this time every sector related to mobility was given a chance in the Auto Expo. Apart from luxury cars, bikes, cycles, other vehicles were also brought in it. Besides, the equipment, tyres, steel and other essential items used in these vehicles were also displayed.

The special thing was that start ups also came to this expo, which gave a glimpse of the revolutionary changes in the coming days. Special importance was given to the safety of drivers. He said that enthusiasm among the people has increased after this event. Next time this Auto Expo will be organized on a larger scale. It is expected that next time other modes of transport will also be given a chance. In response to a question, he said that whether this event will be held twice a year or not will depend on the organizer. The ministry is fully prepared for this.

36 bicycle companies came to Auto Expo

This time 36 bicycle companies came to the expo. Whereas last time their number was 22. In this exhibition held in Hall No. 14, most of the bicycles were of daily use. Apart from this, bicycles carrying goods were also present. Their price started from Rs 25 thousand to Rs 70 thousand.

Ethanol based bike waiting for ready availability

A large number of ethanol-based futuristic bikes were showcased at the expo. It will run on 80 percent ethanol and 20 percent petrol. Organizers said that keeping the future in mind, all the companies have presented ethanol-based two-wheelers in the expo. Currently E-20 oil is available.
