Changes in autope transactions also
Repeated UPI autope transactions like installment, mutual fund SIP and OTT subscription will now be completed only in non-busy times. Autope transactions will be held before 10 am, between 1 to 5 pm and 9:30 pm. This means that if your Netflix bill was deducted at 11 am, then it can now be cut before or after. Similarly, if your UPI payment fails, then there will be only three opportunities to check its status. I will have to wait 90 seconds between every effort.

Banking Amendment Act applicable from today
The major provisions of the Banking Law (Amendment) Act, 2025 will be applicable from August 1. The amended law aims to improve the bank administration and ensure safety of depositors and investors.
