Nearly two years after the Gaza war started, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has now started work on the plan to capture the entire Gaza (Big Gaza Plan). However, the Israeli army does not agree on this Big Gaza plan of Netanyahu.

Lieutenant General Ayal Jamir, Chief of Staff of Israeli Defense Force (IDF), has objected to the scheme. This has further increased the tension between Israeli political and military leadership.

Jamir has warned that attempts to occupy Gaza may pose a serious threat to the lives of 20 Israeli citizens hostage there. According to Jamir, this will get entangled in a tedious war in Israel Gaza.

At present, the Israeli army has control over 75% of Gaza. Now Netanyahu wants to capture the entire Gaza.

Netanyahu is demanding to establish Jews’ settlements again by implementing military rule on government fundamentalist minister Gaza.

During the Gaza war, Israeli officials have questioned the decisions of PM Netanyahu. Netanyahu’s plan to remove internal intelligence agency Shin Bet chief Ronon Bar was stopped by the court.

IDF Chief Harshi Halevi resigned in March 2025. In November 2024, the then Defense Minister Galant was removed by Netanyahu citing ‘Vishwas Crisis’.

Netanyahu has revealed a plan to complete the Gaza Strip with his close ministers.

Two of his radical colleagues are demanding a merger in Israel after Military rule on Finance Minister Bezallal Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gaza. They are advocating the restoration of Jewish settlements there.

The question is that if Netanyahu’s plan is implemented, then what will happen to the 23 lakh people living in Gaza?
