The series stars Neil Nitin Mukesh and Jacqueline Fernandes in the lead roles, while Sumedha Mudgalkar, Siddharth Nigam, Yati Thareja and Boman Irani will also be seen in important roles. During this, the star cast of the web series had a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar.
Tell me any special thing about your character in ‘Hai Junoon’ which was completely different from your real life and it was very difficult to play?
Answer/indigo- In this, my character is of Gagan Ahuja, who is very obsessed with his passion. Perhaps I am not able to see myself at that level. There is a scene in the teaser where I break the guitar. Even though he was a dummy guitar. But before doing that scene I really folded my hands, because I come from a family where musical instruments are seen with great respect and love.
At that time there were many questions in my mind, especially what my grandfather’s fans will think of seeing this scene. However, as an artist, we have to play such scenes many times which are completely different from our real life. This was the only scene that was completely different from my nature and thinking.
Siddharth, what does the passion to you mean by a career perspective?
Answer/Siddharth- I think since I started my career and whatever I am doing today is all because of my passion. This journey of mine is still going on today, because passion has been the strength that encouraged me to move forward. If I do not have that passion in me, then it is not so easy to overcome the more rejections I have faced or the difficulties I have seen.
Has it ever happened to you or someone else that the passion has increased to the extent?
Answer No, this has never happened to me. But I have definitely seen people whose passion was not in the right direction. If he wanted, he could have used his passion better. As far as I am concerned, I have so much passion about my work that everything else is left behind. When we are shooting, many times they are unable to eat food on time, sleep is not complete and could not even talk to the family. I think this is not right. Sometimes our personal life is also affected to make a scene perfect. In such a situation, it seems that yes, if the passion increases to the extent, it can be a little wrong.
Priyank, when you were approached for this series and character, what was your first reaction?
Answer/Priyank- In the year 2021, I auditioned for this role. The show was a bit different at that time. The story line was also different and it was not such a big franchise. Initially only a few people were approached. Neil Nitin Mukesh and Jacqueline were also not part at that time. But as these big names are connected to it, the credibility of the show also increased and there was a different passion in us.
Have you ever got any special benefit of being associated with this industry?
Answer/indigo- No, I never got any special benefit of being from this industry. Yes, as Dada Mukesh’s grandson and father Nitin Mukesh’s son, people got love and respect, but I had to struggle a lot to get work.
Often people feel that if someone is from the industry, then he will get the work easily, but the truth is that we have to work as hard and struggle. Everyone in the industry has to eat, whether it is new or from a large family.
The path was not easy for me either. I think nothing is achieved without struggle. No matter what the big star is, struggle is necessary in everyone’s life. This struggle gives real strength to move forward.
You have played the role of Shri Krishna. When did you realize that you have to move beyond this and do something new?
Answer From the beginning, I wanted me to get different roles. At first it seemed that it was to become an actor and come on TV. But when he stepped into this field and started acting, it was understood what an actor actually is.
So far I have played many types of characters. He has also played a negative role and also the role of Shri Krishna. But it was always in my mind that I also have to play a common man, a normal character who is connected to people. Due to this passion, I got a chance to play such a character, and it was like a new beginning for me.
Are you satisfied with your 20 -year career? Is there a dream roll that has not been given a chance to play yet?
Answer/indigo- Yes, of course. I am very satisfied with my career. So far I have got a chance to work with many big superstars, which is a matter of pride for me. As far as Dream Roll is concerned, there are many characters who desire to play, especially those who can change the thinking of people. Often people have different opinions about my appearance, but I am completely desi with heart and mind. I believe that if an artist gets the right opportunity, he can adapt himself to any character.
