‘NDA will win 160 seats’, Amit Shah’s big claim, said – Opposition considers illegal infiltrators as its vote bank.

Amidst Bihar Assembly elections, Home Minister Amit Shah has targeted the Grand Alliance. He asked whether infiltrators should have the right to vote? During a TV channel programme, Shah said that illegal infiltration is not only a security threat but is also an issue that weakens the democratic structure. After his statement, the discussion on infiltration and vote bank war in the electoral politics of Bihar has again intensified.

Illegal infiltrators have no right to vote: Shah
Amit Shah said that the opposition considers illegal infiltrators as its vote bank, whereas the government’s stand is clear that only Indian citizens have the right to vote, not the infiltrators. He said that the names of illegal citizens will be removed from the voter list and it is necessary to send them out of the country because ‘India is not a hospice.’

Comment also on Naxalism, law and order and Mokama incident
Shah claimed that the back of Naxalism has been broken and rehabilitation and skill programs are going on for those who have surrendered. On the Mokama massacre, he said that the incident is wrong, but today criminals do not get political protection like before, due to which law and order has improved.

He said that now in Bihar the discussion is not about crimes, but about bridges, roads and development projects. The Home Minister clarified that NDA is fighting the elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. The Chief Minister’s decision will be taken after the elections as per the constitutional process. He claimed that NDA will win 160 seats in Bihar and the public wants to avoid ‘Jungle Raj’.

Formula also given on employment and migration
Shah said that to stop migration in Bihar, self-employment will have to be promoted more than government jobs. He termed Tejashwi Yadav’s promise of 2 crore jobs as ‘impossible as per the budget’. He said that NDA has laid the foundation of development through electricity, housing, gas and other facilities and in future, more employment opportunities will be given to the youth through skill development programs.
