National Investigation Agency Conducted Massive Search Operation at 15 Locations in Eight States – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided 15 locations in eight states of the country on Saturday in Pakistan -related espionage case. The action was taken after the recent arrest of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) constable Moti Ram Jat. He was caught on charges of spying for Pakistan.

NIA has given Delhi, Maharashtra (Mumbai), Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Assam and P.S. Raids on the locations of suspects were conducted in Bengal. Many electronic equipment, sensitive financial documents and other objectionable materials were seized during this period. According to the NIA, these materials are part of the spy racket and anti -India terror conspiracy operated by Pakistan -based intelligence operators. Investigations have revealed that the suspects targeted in the raids had relations with Pakistani operators and were carrying out espionage activities in India for money.

NIA filed a case on 20 May

On May 20, the NIA registered a case and arrested CRPF’s suspended Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Moti Ram Jat. Jat was giving confidential information related to national security since 2023 and was receiving money through various channels instead. CRPF has dismissed Jat from service.
