Mohit Suri’s film ‘Saira’ continues at the box office. This film is constantly making new records. The film has touched a mark of Rs 300 crore in terms of earnings at the domestic box office. In this way, it is Mohit Suri’s first 300 crore blockbuster film. At the same time, Ahaan Pandey and Anit Padda have become the first artist to reach 300 crore club from their debut film.
According to the report of industry tracker Caiknilk, ‘Saira’ earned Rs 8 crore at the box office on the 17th day. However, this figure was much lower than the second Sunday. The film earned 30 crores on the second Sunday. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film was watched by 39.10 percent of the audience on the third Sunday i.e. August 3.
The ‘Syara’ was released on July 18 at the theater.
Let us know that ‘Saira’ has joined the list of 15 Bollywood films, which reached the fastest reaching 300 crore club. By doing this, ‘Saira’ has left behind Salman Khan’s film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Sultan’, Hrithik Roshan’s ‘War’, and Deepika Padukone’s ‘Padmavat’. Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ crossed this figure in just 6 days. At the same time, ‘Pathan’ and ‘Animal’ touched this figure in seven days. ‘Saira’ is at number 11 in this list.
No debut films did not do amazing
In the industry, before ‘Saira’, ‘Dhadak’ had set the record for the biggest opening after ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’. The film started well and achieved good success. The film earned Rs 8.71 crore in the opening box office collection. The overall film earned Rs 110 crore. Prior to that, Karan Johar’s film ‘Student of the Year’ did a business of Rs 109 crore at the box office with new faces.
Athiya Shetty and Suraj Pancholi’s film ‘Hero’ did 34 crores, Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff starrer film ‘Heropanti’ did business of Rs 72 crore. Talking about the films of some new faces recently, Aman Devgan and Rasha Thadani’s film ‘Azad’ did Rs 10 crore, Pashmina Roshan’s film Ishq-Vishk Rebound did Rs 1 crore and ‘missing Ladies’ did a business of Rs 25 crore.
The rest of the films at the box office earned
Let me tell you that after ‘Saira’, no big Bollywood was released next Friday. Ajay Devgan and Mrinal Thakur’s ‘Son of Sardar 2’, which was earlier to be released on 25 July, was released on 1 August to avoid confrontation. On August 3, at the box office, he earned Rs 9.25 crore on the third day of ‘Son of Sardar 2’. Meanwhile, the second big film Dhadak 2, released on 1 August, has earned Rs 4.25 crore at the box office on its first Sunday, as per the initial estimate.
