Addressing the program, Minister Thakur said that farmers should use good seeds. Farmers will have to move towards organic farming. He said that farmers are going to have an important role in the development of agriculture. Ramnath Thakur said that 40-50 years ago scientific went to villages and demonstrated new seeds and agricultural implements, which is no longer happening. He appealed to the ICAR scientists to demonstrate good seeds in the villages. Because, if the health of the land is good then the farmer will be strong.

This year, the theme of Pusa Agricultural Science Fair 2025 has been kept in advanced agricultural -developed India. The main attraction of the fair will be the performance of state -of -the -art varieties and technologies developed by IARI. Exhibitions will display new techniques, products and services of IARI, ICAR institutions, agricultural universities, KVK, FPOs, entrepreneurs, start up and public and private companies.

The program will offer a technical session focused on important topics and farmer -scientific interactions on important subjects like innovation by climate -influential agriculture, crop diversification, digital agriculture, youth and women entrepreneurship, agricultural marketing, farmers organization and farmers.
