Microsoft can launch Surface All-in-One PC: Report

It is reported that Microsoft is working on a new all-in-one (AIO) PC under its surface brand. The new surface AIO PC is expected to be introduced in the third quarter of 2016. The second -generation surface book is also expected to be launched late by Redmund’s company. The second generation surface book can be launched in the first half of 2017.

Digitims According to the report of, the second -generation surface book will now be launched in the first half of 2017 in place of the second half of 2016. The delay done by Intel in CPU shipment is believed to be the reason for this delay. Instead, Microsoft may launch a surface AIO PC.

Giving information to the industry source in this case, it has been claimed that, “Surface AIO PC will have a significant impact on the global AIO PC market which is continuously decreasing due to the decline in PC product.” According to, this shipment fell to 12.6 million in 2016 as compared to 14 million PCs of AIO PC last year.

On Thursday, Microsoft announced the launch of 1 TB Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 variants in 10 markets. Customers in Australia, Austria, China, France, Hong, New Zealand, Switzerlad and Britain can buy these devices from Microsoft stores, retail partners and official resalers. Surface book has not yet been launched in the Indian market.

Along with this, Microsoft is also expected to release Windows 10 Anniversary updates on its device platform on August 2. Those who already have Windows 10 installed will get these updates free, while users using the old Windows version will have to pay around $ 119 (about 8,000 rupees) for upgrade.
