Mark Zuckerberg went to Mar-e-Lago on 27 November after Trump’s victory.
Mark Zuckerberg’s company Meta will pay a compensation of $ 25 million (about Rs 217 crore) to US President Donald Trump. According to the New York Times, President Trump has signed a legal agreement in the case.
Meta deleted Trump’s account from Facebook and Instagram after riots at the US Parliament Capital Hill on 6 January 2021. Then Trump was in the post of President. Trump had filed a case regarding this decision of Meta. Now Zuckerberg wants to settle the same case out of the court.
According to reports, out of compensation, 22 million dollars (Rs 190 crore) will go to Trump’s President Library and the remaining amount will be spent for legal fees and other things.

Meta restored the account before Trump’s victory Meta restored Trump’s Facebook and Instagram account before the US presidential elections in July 2024. Ever since Trump’s victory in the election held in November, Meta had started to settle the matter related to him.
After Trump’s victory, Zuckerberg went to the resort Mar-e-Lago in Florida to meet him. A month later, Meta also donated 1 million dollars (8.6 crore rupees) for Trump’s swearing -in program. Mark Zuckerberg also attended Trump’s swearing -in ceremony.
Zuckerberg praised the Trump administration for supporting American tech companies and protecting ‘American values’ at a meeting last Wednesday.
Trump and Zuckerberg have been opposed to each other for many years. In 2017, Trump called Mark Zuckerberg’s platform Facebook ‘anti -Trump’. Four years later, after deleting the account, Trump and Zuckerberg’s relationship became worse. Trump also got angry at Zuckerberg in March 2024 and called Facebook a ‘enemy of people’.
News channel ABC will also give Rs 129 crore to Trump

Trump also settled an old case with the news channel ABC last month, in which he decided to give him a compensation of $ 15 million (Rs 129 crore). Trump filed a defamation suit against ABC News.
