The health of former Bangladesh Prime Minister Khaleda Zia is still not well. In such a situation, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed concern over the continuously deteriorating health of BNP chief and former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Begum Khaleda Zia and wished her speedy recovery, then Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) thanked PM Modi by posting on social media platform X.
In a post on Twitter, BNP wrote that the party is deeply grateful for the emotional message and good wishes of Honorable Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. The post also said that the party expresses its deep gratitude to India for this goodwill and preparedness to provide all kinds of help.
What message did PM Modi give?
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi had earlier written on Twitter that he is deeply concerned about the deteriorating health of Begum Khaleda Zia. He said that Khaleda Zia has made significant contributions to the public life of Bangladesh for many years. PM Modi prayed for the speedy recovery of the BNP chief. Also said that India is ready to provide all possible assistance in this difficult time.

Khaleda Zia’s condition is very serious
Let us tell you that 80-year-old Khaleda Zia is admitted in a private hospital in Dhaka since November 23. He was admitted after suffering a severe chest infection, which seriously affected his heart and lungs. A few days after admission, his health deteriorated further. Four days later, doctors shifted him to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) as his multiple health problems became severe simultaneously. He has now been put on ventilation and is being constantly monitored by a team of local doctors as well as international experts.

Regarding Khaleda Zia’s health, BNP Vice President Advocate Ahmed Azam Khan said that Khaleda Zia’s condition is very critical. He said that now there is nothing much left to do, just an appeal for prayers from the entire country. BNP General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir also said that his condition is very serious and doctors are trying their best, but there has been no significant improvement in his condition in the last few days.

It is noteworthy that former Bangladesh PM Khaleda Zia has been suffering from many chronic diseases for a long time, which includes liver and kidney problems, diabetes, arthritis and serious eye problems.
