In a meeting of the Permanent Parliamentary Committee of Foreign Affairs at the Annexe Bhavan of Parliament, MPs questioned the claim of the mediation of US President Trump in the Indo-Pakistan ceasefire. Foreign Secretary Vikram Egyptian said that there was no mediation of third party in the ceasefire. This decision was taken at a bilateral level.

Sources said that some MPs asked if Pakistan had used the Chinese platform in the struggle? To this, Egyptian said that it does not matter as India has attacked Pakistani air bases. He informed the committee about Operation Sindoor. Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt told the Parliamentary Committee that India has given a befitting reply to the Pahalgam terror attack. The terrorists’ bases were destroyed.

The meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs included the chairman of the committee and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, Abhishek Banerjee of the Trinamool Congress, Rajiv Shukla of Congress and Deepender Hooda, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and Bharatiya Janata Party MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, Satnam Singh, Naveen Jindal, Aparajita Sarangi, Arun Govil and RPN Singh. The meeting is being held by the Indian Armed Forces to start Operation Sindoor to avenge the Pahalgam attack and then the military conflict between the two countries.

Shashi Tharoor said- Our delegation will go late America

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who is leading one of the delegation going abroad to expose Pakistan, said that my delegation will be briefed on Friday. So I will not say anything right now. Some teams are already leaving and hence they will have to have their meeting tomorrow. But our delegation is leaving a little late as there is a Memorial Day weekend in the US and the Parliament session in the US is not till June 2. So there is no point in reaching there very early. So we are arriving late and going late. We will leave on 24 May. We are first going to Guyana, Panama, Columbia, Brazil and then finally America. Today, Foreign Secretary is briefing about Operation Sindoor.
