A thrilling stunt that took place during a film promotion on the streets of Ahmedabad has now turned into a serious legal matter. Ahmedabad Traffic Police has registered a case against popular actress Mansi Parekh and veteran actor Tiku Talsania. Both of them are accused of performing dangerous bike stunts on the busy roads of the city for the promotion of their upcoming Gujarati film ‘Misry’, putting the lives of common citizens at risk.
What is the whole matter?
The whole matter came into limelight when the stunt videos of both the artists went viral on social media. In the video, Mansi Parekh was seen standing in a titanic pose on a moving bike, while Tiku Talsania was seen doing stunts while standing on the bike. Seeing this scene, people expressed their displeasure on social media and said that being a celebrity does not mean that the law can be broken.

Taking cognizance of the viral video, Ahmedabad Traffic Police took action without any delay. Police said that the case has been registered at ‘A’ Division Traffic Police Station under crime register number 11191051250588/2025. This case has been registered under Section 281 of the Indian Justice Code and Sections 177 and 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act, which relate to crimes like negligence and endangering life. Police say that this was not just a propaganda but a flagrant disregard of road safety rules, for which strict action is necessary.

Till now neither Mansi Parekh nor Tiku Talsania has given any official statement on this controversy. However, the debate regarding this incident continues on social media. Some said it was merely a creative promotion, while others called it a “dangerous and irresponsible” move. Many users have demanded that strict fines and public apologies should be mandatory in such cases, so that in future any artist or influencer thinks twice before doing such stunts.
