A young man’s alleged objectionable social media posts in Yawat village of Daund taluka in Pune district of Maharashtra remain stressful. There was an incident in the village a week ago, so the atmosphere was already tense there. The police gave this information on Friday.

According to the police, the people of the village came out on the streets and some youths tried to harm a building. However, no one was reported injured in this incident. The police team is present in the area and monitoring the situation.

In this case, Pune SP Sandeep Singh Gill said, ‘At around 12.30 pm in Yawat village here, the police received information that a young man has posted an objectionable status on his WhatsApp/Facebook. After the complaint, the youth was brought to the police station. Action was initiated. Some villagers also reached there. Our police team started a meeting with the representatives of the village to maintain peace. But by then this post had gone viral on social media.

He further said, an incident took place in the village a week ago, so the situation here was already tense.
