Girl’s statement and harassment

The rescued girl made a statement that in 2013 the accused took her with her ice cream. First he was taken to Goa and kept there for several months. Then he stayed in Vile Parle, Mumbai for four months and then took him back to Goa. The girl said that the accused also admitted her to a school in Karnataka and later brought her to Mumbai and got her hostage and got them worked. Apart from domestic work, he got Babyiting and kept his earnings himself. The girl also alleged that she was physically and mentally tortured.

Court arguments and bail

Additional Sessions Judge of Dindoshi Court S.K. M. Takalikar admitted that the woman has been in jail since 2022, while the trial has not yet progressed. During this time neither the testimony of witnesses nor any special progress in the trial. That is why the court said that despite being serious allegations, it is appropriate to give bail to the woman. It also said that it is not right to keep the girl away from her mother.

The woman has got bail from the court, while her husband is still in jail. The court made it clear that the accused mother should get the right to meet her daughter as the affection of the natural guardian cannot be taken away from any child. At the same time, a report was filed by the police in April 2025 in this case, in which it was said that the victim girl is not being traced at the moment. Now after the court order, the accused mother will get an opportunity to meet her daughter.
