Police is forcibly removing loudspeakers- Muslim organization
Muslim organizations allege that in recent times the police are forcibly removing loudspeakers on mosques. He says that the High Court has set a limit of 45 to 56 decibels for the sound level, but the police is taking action to take off the speaker without any measurement or warning.
Organizations clarified that if a mosque violates the rules, the process of canceling notice or license should be adopted, but the action without inspection is unfair.
Abu Azmi accused BJP leader
Abu Azmi made serious allegations against BJP leader Kirit Somaiya about this issue. He said that Somaiya has started this campaign and he is pressurizing the police by going to Muslim -dominated areas, especially Govandi. Organizations claim that the local police is being forced to remove loudspeakers under the pressure of Somaiya. For this reason, Muslim representatives decided to talk directly with Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
Muslim organizations believe that Ajit Pawar is the only leader in the Mahayuti government, which Muslim society has faith in. Pawar has been secular in cases like demolishing houses in Vishalgarh, killing a Muslim youth in Satara and Meera Road riots. Organizations hope that Ajit Pawar will take a fair stand on this issue and will curb the alleged arbitrariness of the police.
