Shiv Sena UBT leader Ambadas Danve has made serious allegations against the government in the Maharashtra land deal case. Danve alleged that CM Devendra Fadnavis is trying to save Parth Pawar, accused in the Pune land deal and son of Deputy CM Ajit Pawar. Parth Pawar is at the center of the Pune land deal controversy. Danve alleged that the government is leaving no stone unturned to save Parth Pawar.

Shiv Sena UBT leader Ambadas Danve demanded registration of a case against Parth Pawar. The Shivsena UBT leader claimed that after this controversy, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar has even offered to resign from the government in anger. Danve said that ‘a meeting was held in Varsha (official residence of Maharashtra CM), in which Ajit Pawar offered to resign in anger and support the government from outside.’
What is the dispute over the land deal?
40 acres of government land in Pune’s Mandhwa area was purchased by a company named Amadiya Enterprises LLP for Rs 300 crore. Deputy CM Ajit Pawar’s son Parth Pawar is a partner in Amadiya Enterprises. This is the reason why allegations are being made that there were irregularities in this deal and rules were not followed nor necessary approvals were taken. The opposition alleges that the actual value of the land for which the deal was done for Rs 300 crore is around Rs 1800 crore. As the controversy escalated, Ajit Pawar said last week that the land deal has been cancelled. He also claimed that Parth was not aware of this land being government land.

Speaking to the media in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Thursday, Ambadas Danve alleged that the BJP had prior knowledge about the Pune land deal and was planning to use the deal against its ally NCP. If anything went wrong in future, Parth Pawar could have been arrested within minutes. Using such tactics to control politics is a sign of criminal mentality.
