So far 8.26 crore devotees have taken bath in Mahakumbh
28.02 lakh devotees visited Mahakumbh 2025 till 12 noon on January 20. More than 10 lakh are in Kalpavas. Till now a total of 38.02 devotees have taken bath. According to the data received, since the beginning of Mahakumbh till January 19, 8.26 crore people have taken bath.

280 cottages made of straw and bamboo burnt to ashes
A massive fire broke out in the camp of Shrikarpatra Dham Varanasi and Geeta Press Gorakhpur on Sunday evening in Sector 19 of the Maha Kumbh Mela area. During this period, 280 cottages made of thatch and bamboo were burnt to ashes. Five bikes and five lakh cash were also burnt. 13 LPG cylinders kept in the cottage also exploded.
