More than 10,000 security forces deployed
Uttar Pradesh Police has deployed over 10,000 personnel, including local police and paramilitary forces, for the security of the Maha Kumbh. NDRF has deployed water ambulance at the Sangam to ensure the safety of the devotees. Mahakumbh started from 13 January and will continue till 26 February.

More than 8.80 crore devotees took the holy dip
There is a steady flow of devotees in the Maha Kumbh Mela which started from January 13. By 6 pm on Monday, the eighth day, more than 8.80 crore devotees had taken the holy dip. Till January 20, a total of about 8.80 crore pilgrims have taken a dip in Sangam Triveni. Mahakumbh is one of the largest and most important religious gatherings in the world.

More than 100 laborers will start camp construction work

More than 8.80 crore devotees have taken bath in Mahakumbh till late Monday night. Dense fog and cold thousands of people have gathered at the ghats to take a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam. Today is the 9th day of the 45-day Mahakumbh 2025.
On the other hand, after the fire in the camp in Prayagraj on Sunday, the administration has put in all its strength for the reconstruction of the camps of All India Religious Association Shrikarpatra Dham Kashi and Geeta Press Gorakhpur. Work has started here since Monday morning by deploying three JCBs and 15 tractors. The construction of the camp will start from today.
According to the fair administration, the entire camp will be ready again in three days. Following the orders of CM Yogi Adityanath, the fair administration had started preparations since Sunday night. After cleaning, tin sheds and other items were also delivered by evening. Fair administration officials reached here from Monday morning with three JCBs and 15 tractors.
