Police received the postmortem report on Tuesday evening in the case of suspicious death of Bhopal model Khushi Ahirwar. The report revealed that Khushi was pregnant and her death was due to rupture of the fallopian tube. According to the report, due to rupture of Khushi’s fallopian tube, there was internal bleeding in her body, due to which she died. However, no external injuries or marks of violence were found on the body.
Complication or fight? Question complicated in investigation
It is not clear in the postmortem report whether the fallopian tube burst due to some medical complication or due to some external reason (like assault). To clarify this point, the police has sent the viscera for forensic examination. The police investigating the case are now waiting for the viscera report.
Khushi was found unconscious in the bus
Qasim told in his statement to the police that he and Khushi were returning from Ujjain to Bhopal by bus. When he tried to wake up Khushi near Phanda toll plaza on the way, she was lying unconscious and her body had become cold. Panicked, Qasim and the bus conductor hired an auto and took her to Viva Hospital, where doctors declared Khushi dead.
Was making a career in modeling
Police investigation revealed that Khushi earlier worked in a bank, but some time ago she had left the job and made modeling her career. There was friendship between Qasim and Khushi for the last one and a half to two years.
What are the family’s allegations?
The family alleges that Khushi was murdered by her boyfriend Qasim Ahmed. According to ACP Adityaraj Singh, on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, police received information from Viva Hospital that two youths had arrived with a girl, who was dead before reaching the hospital. As soon as the information was received, Khajuri police station reached the spot, where Qasim and the bus conductor were present. The police sent the body to Hamidia Hospital for post-mortem and started interrogating Qasim.
