An Uzbekistani woman was shot in the chest by two friends in Ludhiana, Punjab. She fell down in the hotel room in an injured condition. After this the woman has been admitted to a private hospital. The police registered a case of attempt to murder against both the accused.

- The woman first came to Delhi and then to Ludhiana: Ludhiana Police investigation revealed that Asligun Sparova, a resident of Uzbekistan, had come to India last year. Earlier she was living in Delhi. After some time she came to Ludhiana. She was staying here in Hotel High Five of Dad village for about 6 months.
- Entered the room and started pressurizing him to roam around: According to the police, the woman was in a hotel located on Pakhowal Road. On December 11, two of his friends entered his room. After this, a friend Balwinder Singh and Harindra Singh started asking him to hang out. The woman refused this. An argument started between them regarding this. Both were adamant on taking him along.
- Shot inside the car: Following his request, the woman left the room and sat in his car. After this Balvindra took out a revolver from the dashboard. He threatened the woman that if she did not obey him he would kill her. When the woman refused, the accused shot her in the chest.

After this, nearby people admitted the woman to the hospital. DCP Jaskaran said that information was received that the woman was shot. After this he reached the hospital.
The woman’s condition was critical at that time, due to which they could not record her statement. After several days, he went to the hospital and recorded his statement and registered a case. The accused have been identified as Balwinder Singh, resident of New Harinder Nagar, Faridkot and Harjinder Singh, resident of Mohalla Raghubir Park, Ludhiana.
