The youth of small villages of Manali in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh have created history. India has officially officially qualified for the Fire Ball Extreme Challenge (FXC) World Cup. This team is neither from any sports academy nor big cities

Practice in government school grounds
After completing their studies, these youths used to practice in an ordinary government school ground every evening. On the guidance of former national player Vijay Thakur and his passion, he worked hard for years. This discipline and dedication have now brought him to the global stage.

India has never qualified before
The 15 -member Indian contingent, including players and coaches, will represent India at the FXC World Cup 2025 in Lignano Sabbiyadoro, Italy from 1 to 9 December 2025. This achievement is historic for India, as India had never qualified before in the history of FXC World Cup.
Players are taking out the expenses of working by working
Many players of the team come from very ordinary families, some work in gardens, and some work in dhabas and spend their studies. Many of these will travel in airplanes for the first time, get passports made and will go abroad. FXC is the world’s first mandatory co-education game, in which boys and girls play together in every match. The game is being played in more than 8 countries.

Youth got world-level training
In July 2025, international coaches from Italy and Mexico held a boot camp in Manali. Due to which these youth got world-level training. The team aims not only to participate, but to make India proud by winning the World Cup. Local administration, such as Deputy Commissioner Torul Ravish and Sports Officer Kavita Thakur, have expressed their best wishes for the team’s success.
