South Africa defeated India by 4 wickets in the second ODI. In Raipur on Wednesday, the visiting team achieved the target of 359 runs by losing 6 wickets in 49.2 overs. Aidan Markram scored a century from the team.
Virat Kohli danced on the field as soon as Quinton de Kock was out on Wednesday. Tilak Verma, standing at the boundary on Aiden Markram’s shot, saved the six by jumping in the air. 1. Kohli, Jaiswal and Ruturaj opened the account with boundaries
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli and Rituraj Gaikwad scored the first runs of their innings from the boundary. Opener Yashasvi hit a four on the very first ball of the match. He played a drive shot on the ball of Nandre Berger and hit a four towards point.
Virat Kohli hit a six on the last ball of the sixth over. On Lungi Ngidi’s short ball, he played a pull shot and sent the ball outside fine leg. Rituraj Gaikwad, who came to the crease after Jaiswal’s dismissal, also started with a four. He hit a boundary off Marco Yanson’s ball in the ninth over.

2. Rohit out after hitting hat-trick fours
Rohit Sharma hit three fours in three consecutive balls in Nandre Berger’s over. The first ball was of 144 kmph, on which Rohit played with light hands and the ball went between slip and short third man and reached the boundary.

Quinton de Kock reacted immediately after taking the catch and threw the ball in the air. There was not much appeal from Berger, but De Kock asked captain Bavuma to take a review. Ultra-edge clearly showed that the ball had hit the bat.
The review was successful and South Africa got a wicket. Rohit’s score was 14 runs in 8 balls, which included three fours.

4. Gaikwad scored his first century with fours

5. Sundar run out
Washington Sundar was run out on the last ball of the 41st over. Markram’s ball was near the off stump, which Sundar tried to reverse sweep, but the ball hit the edge of the bat and went straight to short third man. It was Rahul’s call, but Sundar set out to run without looking. Rahul did not show interest in taking runs from the beginning.
Sundar had to stop midway and return and also took a dive, but by then it was too late. Bosch stopped the ball while sliding and immediately threw towards De Kock. De Kock scattered the bails and umpire Rod Tucker gave Sundar out without a review. Sundar was run out after scoring 1 run in 8 balls.

6. Britzky dropped Rahul’s catch
Matthew Bretzky missed an easy catch of Rahul in the 46th over of Marco Janson. The fourth ball of the over was outside the off stump and Rahul opened the face of the bat and played a shot over point. Britzki had reached on time and tried to catch it with both hands, but the ball hit his wrist and went out.

7. India’s jersey launched for T-20 World Cup
After the first inning, BCCI also launched the new jersey of Team India for the T-20 World Cup starting from 7th February. 8. India lost review in the first over
The Indian team lost a review in the very first over. Arshdeep Singh’s third ball came near the stump of Aiden Markram. The appeal for caught behind was rejected by the field umpire. In such a situation, the Indian captain had demanded a review. But the umpire’s decision remained intact.
Aiden Markram was out after scoring 110 runs.
9. Kohli’s dance after De Kock’s dismissal
Arshdeep Singh gave India the first wicket by dismissing Quinton de Kock in 4.5 overs. The full length ball moved slightly outside after the pitch. De Kock went to play a shot over mid-on, but the ball hit the edge of his bat and went high in the air.
Washington Sundar ran to the right at mid-on and took the catch. Kohli danced as soon as D-Kock was out. Quinton was out after scoring 8 runs in 11 balls, which included two fours.
