It is being told that this building was built from the Canadian government funds and recently a lift has also been installed at a cost of $ 1.5 lakh. Now a board of ‘Republic of Khalistan’ has been installed on this building.

The building was earlier used as a community center for the local Sikh community. Now its use in pro -Khalistan activities has become a matter of concern for India. The move may prevent India-Canada’s pre-stressful relations.

India-Canada already running tension There was already tension in the relationship between the two countries after the allegations made by Canadian PM Justin Trudeau over the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in September 2023. India dismissed these allegations outright and had to reduce the number of diplomatic staff in Canada.

Now the situation has become more serious due to the alleged embassy of ‘Republic of Khalistan’ in Surrey city of Canada. India has long been accusing Canada of fingering Khalistani organizations.

According to sources, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs may soon take strict action on this. India can demand a ban on activities like SFJ and SFJ from Canada.

Experts say that this issue is now connected to India’s national security and can be taken to international forums.

The Khalistanis were opposed to the Indian embassies abroad.

Threatened to hold public opinion in India About 6 months ago, SFJ chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannu released a video and threatened to start a referendum for Khalistan in India. Prior to this, he has done similar reference in America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and many countries of Europe.

The QR code for voting from a social media account named SFJ Team and the registration process on the website was also shared. In the form, people of other religions along with Sikhs were allowed to vote.

However, the Government of India took strict steps and banned the account within 10 hours of the post.

This incident shows that SFJ is constantly trying to spread anti -India activities online and on global platforms.
