Karnal man held hostage by Donkars while going to Iran.
Two youths from Karnal in Haryana are being stripped naked and beaten with sticks by Iran Donkar. Both the youths are residents of villages Jamba and Dadupur, who had set out to go to Spain in Europe through the Donkey Route.

Now the Donkars have taken him hostage and a ransom of Rs 20 lakh is being demanded from his family.
A threat has been given that if the money is not received then the kidneys of both will be removed and sold. Both the victim families have complained to the police.

- Both had left home to work abroad: 24-year-old Hrithik, resident of Jamba village of Karnal, and 40-year-old Pawan, resident of Dadupur, had left their respective homes on October 22. Both of them had gone with the dream of earning good money by working abroad. First he reached Kolkata, from where an agent got him a ticket for Bangkok.
- Donkers caught before reaching Spain: From Bangkok he was sent to Iran. From there the journey of Europe to Spain started, but before reaching Spain both of them were caught by Donker. Donkar first beat both of them brutally and then made a video and sent it to their families.
- First ransom was Rs 9 lakhs, then it became Rs 20 lakhs: According to the family, first a demand of Rs 9 lakh was made, then Rs 13 lakh and finally Rs 20 lakh. He said that if the money is not paid within an hour, he will remove the kidneys of both of them and sell them.
- The agent said – I have nothing to do with it: When Agent Manish was talked to on this matter, he declared himself innocent. Manish said that he did not send anyone, nor did he have any contact with these youth. He came in contact with someone else from Calcutta and went abroad from there. I did not get any tickets booked for them.

Both the youths came in contact with the agents Hrithik’s brother Ankit told that Hrithik wanted to go abroad for a long time, but was failing again and again. Meanwhile, he came in contact with an agent named Manish from Bastali village, whose office is in Kurukshetra. Apart from this, another agent Ankush, who is a resident of Jadaula village, had got the tickets of both of them booked. Family members told that both the youth had given one and a half lakh Euros in cash and three to four lakh rupees as agent fees to the agents. Everything was normal before going abroad, but now both of them are trapped in the clutches of Donkar. When the family contacted the agents, they stopped picking up the phone.
Talked till two days ago, now no contact The family members of Hrithik and Pawan told that they had talked to both of them two days ago. They were scared and told that they were being beaten badly. Since then there has been no contact with him. The family called the agents several times, but no one helped. The agents said that now go to the SP office and complain, you will get help from there. Family members told that before going abroad, both of them had said that they would go there and earn money to improve the condition of the family. Now his life is in danger and his family members are wandering from door to door.
The victim’s family reached Karnal, first wanted to meet the SP, but when the SP was not found, they returned home after giving a complaint to the Sadar police station.
Pawan’s 14 year old daughter The condition of Dadupur resident Pawan’s family is very bad. His 14 year old daughter is crying continuously. He has appealed to the administration to somehow bring his father back. Pawan’s brother Praveen Kumar told that Pawan was trying to go abroad for the last two-three years.
After talking to an agent named Manish, he finally made this plan and went with Hrithik. The family also has their video and location till Tehran, Iran. A few days later, a call came from an unknown number and it was said that Pawan has now reached Spain, please make the payment. But then the situation worsened and Donkar started the torture demanding Rs 20 lakh.
Police registered complaint, investigation started Karnal Sadar police station in-charge Tarsem Chand said that two families from Jamba and Dadupur had reached the police station. He complained that his sons were stuck in Iran and Donkar was beating them. Demand for money is being made. All documents related to this case have been called for. The case is being investigated.
