The situation worsened in Garhwa district of Najharkhand on Sunday when a family dispute took violent form. Villagers attacked the police team in Gurdi village of Garhwa Sadar police station area. A total of ten people, including six policemen, were injured in the incident. Tension spread throughout the area after the attack. The police force was sent to the spot and efforts started to bring the situation under control.
= The matter began when Takshir Khan, a resident of Gurdi village on Saturday night, assaulted his wife Rakiba Khatoon. On Sunday, Rakiba Khatoon’s father and other relatives reached the village and tried to compromise on both sides. Meanwhile, the dispute increased and the villagers attacked Rakiba’s family. Seeing the situation deteriorating, the police team reached the information also trying to calm the dispute.

Villagers attack on police
The six -member police team, who arrived in the village, suddenly attacked the villagers. All the policemen were injured in this. This violence with the police caused panic on the spot. Station in -charge Brij Kumar said that additional force was immediately sent to the village to save the police team. Two policemen have been seriously injured in the attack, who have been admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment.

Status and treatment of injured
According to police, a total of ten people have been injured in the incident. These include six policemen and four villagers. Two seriously injured policemen are being treated at Garhwa Sadar Hospital. The condition of other injured is said to be stable. The team of doctors is constantly overseeing the injured. Police say that strict action will be taken against the culprits involved in this attack and strict action will be taken against them.
